We have just received news that our circular design project "optimized cargo bike for the last mile" is being supported by prohelvetia.
We are very excited to further develop the idea over the next few months - with Veo Bikes and the courier centre, we will get first-hand know-how.
We are going to investigate the processes involved in transferring goods from the lorry to the cargo bike. What can be optimised to get even more goods onto the Cargobike for fine distribution - in an ecologically as well as economically sensible way. The idea is to create a lighthouse project for Basel that can be applied to other cities in the context of the circular economy. We are curious to see what the outcome will be.
